Junior Quality Control Operator - Late Shift

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Quality Control Operator - Late Shift to join our dynamic team at DMS. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the film and TV industry, ensuring the quality of content for international releases. As a Junior Quality Control Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our prestigious clients.

What You'll Do

• Perform quality control checks on short-form localisation content, including TV spots and digital advertisements.
• Review trailer content for accuracy, ensuring original versions and scripts are correctly represented.
• Conduct long-form quality control on feature film content, compiling reports on potential faults.
• Monitor the status of automated QC services like Vidchecker and Harding, addressing issues as they arise.
• Assist with cross-department training and onboarding of new team members.
• Compile a 'Recurring Issues' document to track errors and improve processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding QC findings.
• Work the late shift from Monday to Friday, 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.

Requirements

• Approximately 1 year of experience using Adobe Premiere and Audition.
• In-depth knowledge of QC workflows and international broadcast audio specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in checking visual and audio content.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
