Mid-Senior Test Automation Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team at KWAN. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely while contributing to modern microservices built on Microsoft Azure environments. As a Test Automation Engineer remote, you will be responsible for automating test cases using Playwright, designing and maintaining automated test scripts, and ensuring the quality of our software products.

What You'll Do

• Automate test cases using Playwright (mandatory; proficiency will be tested during interviews).
• Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts and test suites.
• Execute and validate software testing activities across different environments.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprints, planning, retrospectives, etc.).
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure product quality and adherence to requirements.
• Apply QA methodologies and testing processes to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.
• Support test planning, test execution, and defect tracking using tools like Xray.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Work with databases (PostgreSQL) for test data management and validation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Proven experience in using Playwright for test automation (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Proficiency with tools such as Git, Java, Cucumber, JMeter, PostgreSQL, Xray.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent level of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of additional testing frameworks.
