Mid-Senior Platform Engineer - AI Infrastructure
About the Role
We're looking for a Mid-Senior Platform Engineer to join our growing team at Magentic. This is an exciting opportunity to work on building, scaling, and owning the infrastructure that powers our AI procurement solution. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product and ensuring that our infrastructure is top-notch. What You'll Do
- Manage all infrastructure as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), eliminating ClickOps.
- Shape a multi-tenant, multi-cloud platform that follows IaC and GitOps best practices, balancing speed, cost, and security.
- Collaborate with the development team to design secure software delivery processes using GitHub workflows and AI agent tooling.
- Ensure high observability of our systems, both AI and non-AI.
- Champion security, compliance, and automation to turn them into advantages rather than friction points.
Requirements
- Deep mastery of cloud platforms like Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong experience with containers and orchestration tools.
- Enthusiastic about AI, with a background in agent-assisted development.
- Experience managing production Kubernetes clusters.
- Ability to monitor, debug, and diagnose performance issues in production environments.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing self-hosted, cloud-agnostic AI/ML infrastructure.
- Background in B2B infrastructure/platform settings.

- Competitive salary of £110,000-£120,000.
