Mid-Senior Azure Solutions Architect - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Azure Solutions Architect remote to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in transforming enterprises to thrive in a cloud-first world. You will collaborate with highly skilled teams globally to design and implement complex Azure Cloud solutions that drive business success.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with business stakeholders to define future Microsoft Azure platform solutions requirements and critical scenarios.
• Drive the transition to Azure cloud, analyzing total cost of ownership and building compelling business cases.
• Design and prototype Azure solutions, creating infrastructure and security architecture documents that detail technical implementation aspects.
• Develop a unified strategy for Azure cloud transformation management, including automation, security, implementation, and operations.
• Analyze existing applications and IT service portfolios to develop migration, transformation, and automation roadmaps.
• Conduct reviews and audits of Azure infrastructure architecture, generating comprehensive reports.
• Manage solution implementation from project requirements establishment to launch.
• Participate in pre-sale activities, including RFP processing and proposal development, while communicating directly with potential clients.
• Act as an Azure evangelist, providing technical guidance on Azure solutions design, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with multi-tier distributed architecture in IT consulting, operations, application development, or support, including migration and design of Azure cloud solutions.
• Background in converting legacy IT solutions with a strong understanding of software development tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in architecture design and migrating workloads to the Azure cloud.
• Skills in various migration techniques: rehost, refactor, re-architect, re-platform, repurchase, etc.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, networks, and connectivity.
• Proficiency in deployment design, configuration management automation (CI/CD), security automation (SAST/DAST), and IT operations automation (AIOps).
• Familiarity with modern cloud architecture and a history of successful complex Azure solution implementations.
• Understanding of cloud design patterns, operations, and cost models with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.

Nice to Have

• Experience in DevOps practices and tools.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
