Mid-Level Simulator Technician - Integration & Maintenance
About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Simulator Technician - Integration & Maintenance to join our team at HII. This Simulator Technician remote position plays a crucial role in supporting the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), located at Nellis AFB, NV. You will be part of a dedicated team providing on-site modeling and simulation (M&S) support to the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC) and Air Combat Command (ACC).
What You'll Do
- Perform operations and maintenance on all JITTC-N simulation systems to ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot simulator systems to ensure full operational capability and customer support readiness.
- Support technical planning for system integration, software loads, and equipment updates.
- Conduct failure analysis based on logged system data.
- Track spares usage; coordinate with logistics to maintain needed inventory levels.
- Verify technical data and create technical documentation in support of system integration and updates.
- Assist with integration and testing of new or updated systems, components, or configurations.
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a related field, or 0 years with a PhD/JD in a related field, or High school diploma/equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting technical systems, maintenance, or integration environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in complex systems.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and system documentation during maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to follow established maintenance procedures and contribute to updates of technical documentation, work instructions, and integration checklists.
- Must have held an active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months.
Nice to Have
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred.
- Experience working with advanced military aircraft simulators.
- Experience with JSE infrastructure or similar distributed simulation environments.
- Experience with ASTi/Chat or similar communications applications.
- Current Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.

Who Will Succeed Here
