Mid-Level Frontend Developer (React/​Next.js) - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) remote to join our dynamic team at CodeLeap. As a remote developer, you will be part of a London-based software development agency with a vibrant remote engineering team in Brazil. You will work on exciting projects involving web platforms, mobile apps, and AI-powered solutions for clients across the UK and Europe.

What You'll Do

• Build reliable, responsive interfaces using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
• Contribute to technical decisions and bring innovative ideas to the table.
• Interact directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Ensure frontend quality, performance, and maintainability of applications.
• Review pull requests (PRs) and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills.
• Stay updated with new tools, technologies, and best practices in frontend development.
• Collaborate closely with your squad to solve problems and ship features quickly.

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience as a developer, specifically in frontend development.
• Professional experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to seek help when needed.
• Ability to review PRs and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a tech lead or managing technical teams.
• Fullstack experience, especially with Python/Django.
• Fluent English for effective communication.
• Understanding of both mobile and web development.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies.
• Proactive attitude and ownership mindset.
• Strong focus on quality and user experience.
• Previous experience with our tech stack (2+ years).
