About the Role

We’re hiring a Mid-Level Automation Test Engineer to join our team remotely in Australia. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about quality assurance and test automation. As a Mid-Level Automation Test Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test strategies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Execute automated and manual tests to identify defects and performance issues.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track resolutions effectively.
• Improve test coverage, frameworks, and automation best practices continuously.
• Maintain test documentation and uphold quality standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in test automation or software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Fluent in English and based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.

Nice to Have
