Mendix Architect - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mendix Architect to join our team in a remote capacity with relocation support available. As a Mendix Architect, you will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting Mendix projects, leveraging your expertise in the Mendix low-code development platform.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Mendix applications using the Mendix low-code development platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and other developers to understand business requirements and design effective solutions.
• Participate in project planning and estimation processes.
• Ensure the quality of code and applications through rigorous testing, peer review, and code analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Mendix applications.
• Follow best practices for software development while staying updated on emerging trends in low-code development.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, team members, and management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Utilize your strong knowledge of Mendix Studio, Mendix Studio Pro, and Mendix Runtime to develop custom widgets and modules.

Requirements

• Architect level experience in Mendix with Intermediate and Advanced certifications.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Domain experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of OPC-UA, PLC/SCADA interfacing.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating Mendix applications with external systems.
• Knowledge of software development best practices.
