Director of Lean Operations - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Lean Operations to join our team at Honeywell. This remote opportunity allows you to strategize and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, significantly impacting our business's success. You will oversee procurement, production, logistics, and distribution processes to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and track procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Create and ensure execution of strategies for optimizing the entire supply chain.
• Forecast demand, analyze market trends, and make data-driven recommendations for planning.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and timely procurement.
• Streamline processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and other department leadership to ensure alignment.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the integrated supply chain.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, focusing on integration and optimization.
• Lean Manufacturing Training and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in supply chain management.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree.
• Black Belt or Lean Expert Certification.
• Significant experience leading Kaizen events.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
