About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Operate various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to the packing station or shipping area.
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
  • Convey picked orders to the packing station or shipping areas efficiently.
  • Receive products into the warehouse, open crates, inspect products, and apply labels according to established procedures.
  • Utilize powered industrial equipment to move products into designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Wrap and pack products by hand into boxes for shipping and label boxes with packing slips.
  • Monitor equipment or processes and report any problems to the supervisor.
  • Follow standard operating and safety procedures to maintain a safe and organized work area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
  • Minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and speak English.
  • Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with reach trucks and order picker forklifts.
  • Strong record-keeping and measurement capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
