Marketing Intern - Product & Content for FinTech

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Intern - Product & Content to join our team at Wealthsimple for Summer 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, allowing you to collaborate in person at our Toronto headquarters while also enjoying the flexibility of remote work. As a Marketing Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to transforming financial services into accessible and transparent options for Canadians.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to real cross-functional projects within the Product & Content Marketing team.
• Support the overarching content marketing strategy, including educational resources and organic growth channels.
• Assist in go-to-market planning and execution for Wealthsimple’s banking products.
• Engage in market research and client insights to inform marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with product marketers, content strategists, and lifecycle communication owners to ensure cohesive messaging.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student at a Canadian post-secondary institution or technical bootcamp.
• New graduates within 6 months of graduation are also eligible.
• Available to work full-time hours during the internship period.
• Residing in Canada and able to commute to our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• Strong interest in marketing and innovative financial solutions.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in marketing or related fields.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
