About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager - Marketing to join our team at Keywords Studios, a leading provider of technical services for the gaming industry. In this Business Development Manager - Marketing remote role, you will leverage your extensive experience to drive strategic revenue growth within the North American Video Games market. Your mission will be to secure high-value partnerships with global game publishers, articulating our unique ability to attract and engage players through data-driven insights and creative marketing excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, prospect, and close high-value opportunities targeting major global game publishers and developers.
  • Expertly sell the full suite of Engage Marketing Services tailored for the gaming lifecycle.
  • Utilize Keywords Insights for player-persona mapping and market analysis.
  • Build community-centric social strategies and execute global influencer campaigns for AAA and Indie titles.
  • Secure high-impact media coverage and manage reputation within the gaming community.
  • Partner with publishers to deliver trailers, key art, and high-impact digital assets.
  • Develop and execute a sales roadmap prioritizing high-growth accounts within the gaming sector.
  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships within the marketing and publishing departments of leading games companies.
  • Collaborate with global creative and production studios to pitch integrated, world-class marketing solutions.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at major gaming events like GDC, Summer Game Fest, PAX, and Gamescom.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working directly for or with global games publishers.
  • 5+ years of proven success in a Business Development role within the video games or gaming-adjacent marketing space.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the global gaming ecosystem, including platform trends and player behavior.
  • An active, "warm" network of contacts within the North American gaming industry.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; able to translate marketing services into a compelling ROI-driven narrative.
  • A self-starter with the discipline to drive sales cycles independently.

  • Experience in managing large-scale marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Previous experience in a hybrid work environment.
