Marketing Coordinator - Film & Media Focus

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Coordinator remote to join our dynamic team at MUBI, a global streaming service dedicated to elevating great cinema. As a Marketing Coordinator remote, you will play a crucial role in building awareness and driving subscriber growth in the Netherlands.

What You'll Do

• Manage MUBI Netherlands social media channels and support the global digital team with social management and community interaction.
• Collaborate with the in-house creative team on the ideation and development of social media assets.
• Draft copy for digital and social media ads, as well as emails.
• Coordinate outreach to key partners to broaden the reach of our social media channels and marketing efforts.
• Support the Netherlands marketing team in planning, execution, and management of partnerships with brands, film institutions, festivals, and arts organizations.
• Execute promotions aimed at maximizing subscriber acquisition and increasing brand exposure.
• Assist in planning and delivering a wide range of screenings and events.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of related experience in marketing, media, or entertainment.
• Strong passion for quality cinema, from classics to new releases.
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Well-versed in social media and up-to-date on trends in the digital landscape.
• Knowledge of the film industry landscape, including competitors and key publications.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and basic video editing skills (ideally with Adobe Premiere).
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
