About the Role

We're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and support operations in process development, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate with production teams to ensure high standards for performance, quality, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and maintain optimum production methods, tooling, and equipment to support efficient manufacturing.
  • Demonstrate full process ownership for assigned areas, providing on-floor support to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard work.
  • Analyze process data to ensure control and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead special projects focused on improving process capability and reducing costs.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to investigate process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train operators on process changes and new equipment.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing process simulation.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles and root-cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a quality-focused role.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
