Maintenance Technician - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team remotely. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform essential repairs, troubleshoot various systems, and complete preventative maintenance tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and delivering high-quality service to our tenants.

What You'll Do

• Perform repairs and troubleshoot systems efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, electrical systems, plumbing, and other specialized equipment.
• Be available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7 when scheduled, demonstrating commitment to tenant satisfaction.
• Utilize software systems to manage and record preventive maintenance schedules effectively.
• Inspect vacant units and oversee the completion of unit turns, including painting and other necessary tasks.
• Assist in preparing properties for inspections by regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Document vendor services and assess work and product quality to maintain high standards.
• Participate in all required training sessions to stay updated on best practices and safety regulations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in maintenance for commercial and/or residential properties.
• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems, including electrical and heating.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices and regulations.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Ability to move heavy equipment safely and efficiently using proper tools.
