Logistics Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to join our established Office Furniture Consultancy, which boasts 46 years of industry experience. This Logistics Manager role offers a unique opportunity to manage daily operations remotely, ensuring efficient logistics planning and execution.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, scheduling installation teams and transportation while monitoring warehouse workflows.
• Utilize internal IT systems for data analysis to track deliveries and enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and supervise the Warehouse Manager and fitters, focusing on team performance and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory levels effectively, identifying cost-reduction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Oversee waste management processes, enhancing recycling workflows and minimizing costs.
• Take responsibility for warehousing facilities, ensuring stock checks and implementing new stock management systems.

Requirements

• Relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on data analysis.
• Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external partners.

• Experience in logistics management within the office furniture industry.

What We Offer

• Negotiable salary based on experience, estimated between £50,000 and £65,000 annually.
