Litigation Intern - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Intern to join Cornerstone Building Brands in a remote capacity. As a Litigation Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with legal experts and gain valuable experience in the field of law. This internship is ideal for students who have completed at least one year at an ABA-accredited Law School. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the litigation docket, generating reports, and collaborating on standard operating procedures, all while honing your skills in a professional environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist in updating the litigation docket based on internal notes and databases.
• Maintain communication with the Litigation Paralegal and Assistant General Counsel.
• Generate report templates and calendars to track case statuses.
• Collaborate on creating standard operating procedures for the litigation docket.
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary to support the legal team.

Requirements

• Must have completed one year at an ABA-accredited Law School.
• Knowledge of basic legal concepts in litigation and employment law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with databases and data management is a plus.
