About the Role

This internship offers a unique opportunity to write from a politically center-left liberal perspective, contributing to the Modern Treatise platform. As a Liberal Political Journalist Intern, you will write a weekly column that reflects your insights and analyses on current political events and issues.

What You'll Do

• Write engaging and informative articles from a center-left liberal perspective.
• Contribute to the Modern Treatise platform by publishing a weekly column.
• Analyze political subjects from multiple perspectives, focusing on fact-based evidence.
• Collaborate with other writers and editors to enhance the quality of content.
• Participate in virtual meetings to discuss editorial direction and strategies.

Requirements

• Strong writing skills with a focus on clarity and engagement.
• Experience in journalism or writing is preferred.
• Adept at understanding political philosophies and current events.
• Ability to analyze subjects from multiple perspectives.
• Must provide a cover letter, resume, and three published clips.
