As a Legal Researcher / Translator, you will focus on translating laws and legal documents from Lithuanian to English, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all communications.

What You'll Do

  • Review and edit translations of laws and legal documents from Lithuanian to English.
  • Utilize the CUBE platform to match sections of laws to corresponding sections in CUBE.
  • Conduct legal research using official sources from your jurisdiction and language.
  • Perform ad hoc and assigned research in your languages as needed.
  • Analyze and interpret complex legal information with good research skills.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team across multiple countries.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a linguist/translator with a strong understanding of legislation and compliance.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (UK) and Lithuanian.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Good knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent research skills to analyze and interpret complex information.
  • Strong team skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
