Lead Python Developer - Front-Office Portfolio Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Python Developer to join our Portfolio Engineering team. This Lead Python Developer remote position will primarily focus on optimizing client accounts and managing risk and reporting data across a full-stack enterprise-class application. You will work closely with various stakeholders in a fast-paced front-office environment, ensuring that the most critical information is presented clearly and effectively.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of enterprise-class applications using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet client needs.
• Optimize client accounts by leveraging data analytics and reporting tools.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely updates on project progress.
• Challenge the status quo by proposing innovative solutions and improvements to existing processes.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, and C++ is a significant plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong analytical skills to manage and interpret large volumes of data.
• Experience in financial services or a related field is mandatory.

• Experience with cloud technologies and deployment.
