Lead Product Designer - Remote Opportunity at Paired

About the Role

We're looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team at Paired, a leading relationship app, to help couples stay in love. This remote Lead Product Designer position offers a unique opportunity to shape experiences that enhance intimacy and connection through our app and physical products.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end product design process for the app, collaborating closely with the Head of Design.
• Translate business goals into user-centered solutions that drive engagement, retention, and revenue.
• Identify new product features by understanding user needs and lead ideation with bold concepts.
• Collaborate with our UX Researcher to validate ideas and inform decision-making through lean research.
• Utilize AI and generative tools to prototype and visualize future states of the product.
• Mentor peers and raise the design bar by modeling high standards of craft.
• Continuously evolve Paired's design system to ensure consistency at scale.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in designing consumer-facing apps, ideally in subscription-based models.
• Proven track record of using data and user research to inform design decisions.
• Strong interaction design skills, with a focus on micro-interactions and motion.
• Experience with gamification techniques to enhance user engagement.
• A portfolio showcasing impactful work that solves real problems for users.

Nice to Have

• Experience in related verticals such as femtech, health & wellness, or self-improvement.
• Curiosity for the mobile app ecosystem and emerging platform capabilities.
