About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Product Designer - Lifecycle & Growth (Remote) to join Instacart's dynamic team. In this role, you will design innovative experiences that enhance customer engagement with our subscription services and promotional systems. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how customers discover and commit to subscription benefits, driving activation and retention.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives for Instacart+, focusing on subscription and promotional experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Design user flows and interfaces for key touchpoints such as home, cart, and checkout.
• Utilize AI-assisted prototyping tools to enhance design processes and outcomes.
• Analyze customer insights and data to inform design decisions and improve user journeys.
• Mentor junior designers and advocate for user-centered design principles within the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end feature design and lifecycle touchpoints.
• Proficiency in Figma and Google Slides for high-fidelity UI design.
• Experience in digital commerce, subscription models, and audience growth initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating design rationale to stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing for marketplaces or e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with generative design tools and A/B testing platforms.
• Understanding of user behavior and lifecycle management in subscription services.
