About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. This Lead Platform Engineer remote position focuses on building robust platforms that support internal software engineering teams. What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of internal platforms that streamline operations for software engineering teams.
• Utilize your expertise in Python and AWS to create scalable and secure cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of applications.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, to enhance development efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on platform engineering.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, and S3.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with offshore teams.

Nice to Have

• AWS certification is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and performance optimization tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
