Lead Data Scientist - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist - Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in data science to develop cutting-edge machine learning models and conduct in-depth data analyses that guide strategic decision-making. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will collaborate with various teams to innovate and automate processes while focusing on creating impactful insights.

What You'll Do

• Plan, develop, train, evaluate, and monitor machine learning models using classical approaches, NLP/NLI, and LLMs.
• Conduct experiments, proof of concepts (PoCs), and discovery initiatives to support decision-making and process automation.
• Explore and analyze business data, performing diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analyses.
• Evaluate, estimate, and track costs of implementation and operation at scale for proposed solutions.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate results, insights, and project impacts.
• Collaborate with business and technology areas, aligning expectations and advocating for technical best practices.
• Propose innovations, support technical decisions, and contribute to the continuous evolution of data and AI solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced Python experience, with proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Pydantic, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL experience, working with relational databases.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Solid understanding of machine learning, including regression, classification, clustering, and NLP techniques.

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading data science projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR.
