Lead Analyst - Data Insights and Analytics

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Analyst to join our dynamic team at Agoda. This Lead Analyst remote position is an exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and contribute to the optimization of our supply ecosystem. As a vital part of our Supply Analytics team, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

What You'll Do

• Translate internal briefs into analytical projects, refining initial briefs and asking the right questions to develop hypotheses and storyboards.
• Utilize and analyze data from large-scale data warehouses, presenting statistically robust analyses to various business stakeholders.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities within supply and the broader business landscape.
• Drive new analytical initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency and shaping Agoda's supply strategy.
• Lead projects that scale the way the Supply organization leverages data, insights, and intelligence.
• Automate manual operational processes and report on time savings achieved through modernization efforts.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as an Analyst in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel and Python (or R).
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, economics).
• Understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience with A/B testing and providing actionable business recommendations based on data insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Nice to Have

• MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative subject.
• Program management certifications (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
• Experience in the Asian market or travel industry.
