About the Role

We are looking for a Korean Speaker Lyric Reviewer - Remote to join our team at Welocalize. In this role, you will evaluate machine-transliterated song lyrics, ensuring their quality and accuracy in translation from Korean to other languages. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the evolving field of AI and language technology while working remotely from anywhere in the world.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate machine-transliterated song lyrics for quality and accuracy.
  • Provide feedback to improve automated transliteration systems.
  • Work flexibly, averaging 4 hours per day.
  • Engage with exciting projects that blend language, culture, and technology.
  • Utilize online evaluation tools to assess and improve transliteration quality.

Requirements

  • Native-level or near-native proficiency in Korean is essential.
  • Strong Korean linguistic skills, including cultural context.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to concentrate on large volumes of content.
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Interest in music and ability to differentiate genres is beneficial.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in localization or linguistic evaluation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with online evaluation tools.
