Junior Marketing Data Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Marketing Data Analyst to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will manage and maintain the reporting ecosystem for marketing channels and their spend. As a Junior Marketing Data Analyst, you will take ownership of optimizing the marketing cost, budget, and performance reporting processes.

What You'll Do

  • Control and audit marketing spend to uncover insights, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
  • Monitor relevant business metrics to identify opportunities and proactively share recommendations with our marketing and other business teams.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to translate non-technical requests into actionable analysis that enhances marketing efficiency.
  • Critically review relevant KPIs to optimize client acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Utilize strong SQL skills to analyze data and provide insights.
  • Develop data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Metabase, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Translate analytical results into actionable recommendations for business teams.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic, personal accountability, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in high-growth environments with dynamic marketing budgets.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Experience in Finance or regulated markets is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
