Junior Cybersecurity Analyst - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support security operations, monitoring, and incident response activities. This Junior Cybersecurity Analyst remote position is ideal for early-career professionals eager to build hands-on experience in cybersecurity across enterprise and cloud environments.

What You'll Do

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools.
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
• Support vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
• Help maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Perform basic threat analysis and escalate incidents as required.
• Assist with access control, IAM, and user security management.
• Support endpoint, network, and application security initiatives.
• Work closely with senior security engineers and SOC teams.
• Participate in security audits and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals (CIA Triad, threat vectors).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs).
• Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar – academic or hands-on).
• Understanding of Windows and Linux security basics.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and basic application security concepts.
• Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7 – preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
