Java DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Java DevOps Engineer to join our agile, collaborative, and international team. In this remote Java DevOps Engineer role, you will be responsible for designing scalable solutions and ensuring operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Automate and maintain the necessary CI/CD tools and pipelines for creating, deploying, and operating deliverables in public cloud environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services based on Java, managing complex interactions with other components.
  • Ensure smooth version deployments by managing software, data, and infrastructure dependencies.
  • Monitor vulnerabilities and apply patches quickly, collaborating closely with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure infrastructure health.
  • Participate in constructive design sessions and rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or Bac+5 in computer engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Strong understanding of GitOps and CI/CD best practices, with the ability to design, test, deploy, and monitor software in high-availability environments.
  • Analytical and rigorous troubleshooting approach with the ability to solve complex technical problems under reliability constraints.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
