IT Systems Manager - Healthcare Infrastructure

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to join our team in Wausau, WI. This IT Systems Manager remote position is a full-time, on-site role responsible for leading a team of 17 IT professionals across systems, server, storage, cloud, and related infrastructure domains. While the team operates largely remotely, the Manager must be on-site daily to support operations and collaborate with local leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of IT professionals in managing infrastructure operations.
  • Oversee systems, server, storage, and cloud management to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and manage VMware solutions to enhance system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with local leadership to align IT strategies with business goals.
  • Manage Windows environments and Microsoft Office applications effectively.
  • Oversee database management and ensure data integrity.
  • Utilize Epic systems to improve healthcare delivery.
  • Drive project management initiatives to enhance IT operations.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience in systems and infrastructure operations.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing IT teams.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Familiarity with Epic systems is preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to relocate to Central Wisconsin if not already local.
