Intern (All Genders) - Strategy & Transaction Communication

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern (All Genders) for Strategy & Transaction Communication to join FGS Global, a leading consultancy in stakeholder strategies. As an intern, you will be immersed in the daily operations of a communications consultancy, gaining hands-on experience from day one. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about communication and looking to make an impact in the industry.

What You'll Do

• Support project teams in developing and implementing communication and positioning strategies for national and international corporations, startups, and investors.
• Assist in M&A transactions, IPOs, and spin-offs by contributing to strategic communication efforts.
• Help build or restructure communication departments for corporates and startups, ensuring they are future-ready.
• Engage in topics ranging from digital transformation to DE&I and ESG strategies, as well as shareholder activism defense and post-merger integration.
• Prepare and organize relevant documents for internal and external communication for our clients.
• Conduct media monitoring, media analysis, and research on capital market-related topics.
• Analyze trends in digital communication and assist in optimizing our clients' social media channels.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in at least the fourth semester of your Bachelor’s degree, with a strong enthusiasm for communication.
• Practical experience in communication, finance, journalism, politics, or strategy consulting is preferred.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to take on new challenges.
• A desire to learn quickly and work on topics that shape our society now and in the future.

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital communication strategies.
• Familiarity with social media management tools.
• Knowledge of financial communication practices.
