In-House Designer - Focus on African Market

About the Role

We are seeking a talented In-House Designer to join our team remotely, focusing on the African market. As an In-House Designer, you will have the opportunity to create compelling visual solutions that resonate with diverse audiences across Africa. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about design and understands the cultural nuances of the African market.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute visual designs for various digital and print assets, including marketing campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, packaging, and animations.
• Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
• Adapt designs to resonate with diverse African markets, audiences, and cultural contexts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and marketing objectives.
• Take ownership of design projects from concept to final execution.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay up to date with design trends, particularly within Africa and emerging markets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a designer (graphic, visual, or brand design), preferably in an in-house role.
• Strong experience working with or designing for African markets.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and/or Figma.
• Solid understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience in video editing/animation creation is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the FinTech industry.
• Knowledge of additional design tools or software.
• Familiarity with digital marketing principles.
