About the Role

We are looking for a Human Resources Intern - Remote to join our dynamic team at SmartCommerce. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR processes while working remotely. As a Human Resources Intern, you will assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, reconciling HR billing documents, and supporting the onboarding process for new hires. You will also help maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates.
  • Reconcile HR billing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials.
  • Help maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in organizing employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends to provide insights to the team.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations as needed.
  • Support employees during Open Enrollment and benefits implementation.

Requirements

  • Current student in the last semester of a bachelor's degree program.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
