HR Project & Business Partner - Remote Opportunities Available
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated HR Project & Business Partner to join our team at Air North, Yukon’s airline. What You'll Do
- Provide strategic HR support by offering best-practice guidance on HR processes, workforce planning, and policy interpretation.
- Collaborate on the design and governance of HR policies and programs that promote a compliant and inclusive workplace.
- Coordinate and execute impactful HR projects that enhance employee experience and align with business priorities.
- Monitor compliance with employment legislation and industry standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Support leadership by providing training resources and coaching tools to empower managers and supervisors.
- Assist in developing HR metrics and dashboards to enhance workflows and foster a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a mid-senior role.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law, WCB, human rights legislation, and labor relations practices.
- Exceptional writing skills to draft and maintain HR policies with clarity and precision.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on discretion and ethical judgment.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel to support HR metrics and decisions.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for process improvement and organizational optimization.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
Nice to Have
- CPHR designation or actively working towards certification.
- Experience with federally regulated organizations or unionized settings.
