About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager - Remote to join our dedicated team at Alliance for Justice. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead our HR initiatives, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our organizational goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing conflicts and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Belgian labor laws and other relevant regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and payroll processing.
  • Conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
  • Utilize HR analytics to measure and improve HR performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to develop policies that support organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with employee engagement strategies and organizational development.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP) is a plus.
