About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide client-specific care in Spokane Valley. This Home Care Aide remote position offers the opportunity to support individuals who require assistance with daily activities, including meal preparation and medication reminders. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the client’s safety and well-being while maintaining exceptional professional boundaries.
What You'll Do
- Assist the client with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor medication schedules.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment while managing challenging behaviors.
- Stay attentive and active throughout the shift to meet the client’s needs.
- Respect and maintain exceptional professional boundaries at all times.
- Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior.
- Support the client with daily living activities as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals who have cognitive impairments and behavioral challenges.
- Exceptional ability to maintain professional boundaries and provide attentive care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain active and engaged with the client during shifts.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks and certifications.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay between $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
- Extra pay for short shifts (1 hour shifts pay $40.00 and 2-3 hour shifts pay $4.00 more per hour).
