Health & Safety Inspector - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Inspector to join our team remotely. In this role, you will ensure a safe and compliant work environment by identifying and mitigating occupational risks. As a Health & Safety Inspector, you will conduct inspections, deliver specialized training, and coordinate safety and environmental protection activities. This position is vital in maintaining compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and industry standards while fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Identify and assess workplace accident risks to enhance safety protocols.
- Prepare risk identification sheets for medical check-ups and ensure compliance.
- Conduct thorough workplace inspections and implement preventive measures.
- Provide specialized training and verify skills of employees.
- Maintain training records and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Install safety indicators and monitor PPE usage across all departments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote safety initiatives.
- Update Prevention and Protection Plans and develop safety instructions.
- Develop Emergency Situations documents and maintain accurate records.
- Update evacuation plans and ensure alarm systems are functioning properly.
- Issue permits for open fire work and monitor compliance with safety regulations.
- Organize and participate in evacuation drills and internal controls.
- Coordinate environmental activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prepare documentation for environmental permits and agreements.
- Monitor environmental factors and waste management activities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Intermediate level of computer literacy.
- A university diploma in a relevant field.
- Completion of an SSM Inspector course (80 hours) is required.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong presentation abilities to convey safety protocols effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the iGaming industry.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
- Certification in first aid or emergency response.
