Health, Safety & Environmental Administrator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety & Environmental Administrator to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the Health and Safety officer, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and legal requirements. What You'll Do

• Maintain and update health and safety records, databases, and filing systems.
• Prepare and distribute health and safety documentation, reports, and correspondence.
• Schedule meetings, training sessions, and site inspections.
• Take minutes at health and safety meetings and track action items.
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
• Monitor and log incidents, near misses, and accidents.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Help coordinate health and safety training and induction records.

Requirements

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a health and safety or compliance role.
• Knowledge of H&S legislation (e.g., HSE, COSHH, RIDDOR).
• Experience using H&S management systems or databases.
• Relevant H&S qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
