Quality Control Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to join our team remotely, overseeing quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our products and services, reinforcing our reputation for excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead Quality Control (QC) activities within the Dundalk manufacturing facility, managing engineers and inspectors.
• Align QC priorities with production schedules and ISO-compliant processes.
• Oversee inspection and testing through structured quality plans, inspection checklists, and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Manage nonconformities by identifying issues, supporting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions.
• Monitor factory quality performance through KPIs and reporting, supporting audits and compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards.
• Act as the main QC contact for clients and stakeholders, promoting quality awareness across teams.
• Oversee welding quality controls and manage the development, training, and performance of the QC team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality control management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Field View or similar quality management systems.
• Knowledge of welding quality controls.
• Certifications in quality management or related fields.
