We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Varsity Football Coach & Program Builder - Remote Opportunity to join our team at Monte Vista Christian School. As a coach, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of our student-athletes, guiding them not only in sports but also in their personal development.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop the varsity football program, ensuring alignment with the school's mission and values.
• Model Christ-likeness and serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Organize and manage all aspects of the football program, including practices, games, and team events.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding program expectations and goals.
• Develop a strategic vision for the football program, setting clear goals and objectives for the season.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship among athletes.
• Ensure compliance with all school policies and regulations related to athletics.

Requirements

• Proven experience in coaching football at a high school or collegiate level.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Monte Vista Christian School.
• Experience in program development and team building.
• Passion for mentoring and developing young athletes.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a head coaching position.
• Knowledge of current trends in high school athletics.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
