About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Remote Payment Services UK to join our innovative team at Remote. This role is pivotal in overseeing our UK regulated payment entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations while promoting a culture of inclusivity and flexibility. What You'll Do

• Lead the operational aspects of Remote’s UK regulated payment entity, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Act as the face of Remote with local regulators and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee risk management, payment operations, product development, and IT functions.
• Conduct Payment Entity Board meetings and develop a robust internal control system.
• Integrate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Finance teams.
• Deliver strong governance as required by external regulations and maintain a high standard of operational excellence.
• Be registered as a PSD individual with the FCA, ensuring adherence to UK financial legislation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in payments, with a focus on Strategy, Legal, Operations, or Entity management.
• 5+ years of experience with a Payments Institution regulated by the FCA.
• Strong understanding of UK financial legislation and payments products.
• Excellent communication skills and proven project management abilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to tell stories through data.
• Must be a UK resident and fluent in English.
• Experience working remotely is a plus.
