About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Information Systems to join the Brett Group. This pivotal role involves providing strategic direction and management for our information systems and technology infrastructure department. As the Head of IS, you will lead the delivery of robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure and support services across our organization. What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IS strategy aligned with the organization’s overall objectives.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive growth.
  • Steer the design, implementation, and management of IT systems, including infrastructure, applications, networks, and cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and manage the delivery of new initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve business processes.
  • Establish IT policies, standards, and procedures in line with best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT and IS leadership roles at a senior/executive level.
  • Proven experience in enterprise IT management, systems integration, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and compliance standards.
  • Experience managing IT operations across multiple sites or business units.
  • Expertise in enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud platforms) and networks.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the heavy building materials, logistics, and construction industry.
  • Familiarity with the IFS ERP system.
