About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Finance - Fuel to join our team at Motia. This role is pivotal in providing financial leadership and support to the Sales Director and the broader Commercial team. As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Motia meets its financial targets and drives growth through innovative fleet solutions. What You'll Do

• Provide robust financial challenge and support to the commercial business, ensuring alignment with budget and strategic goals.
• Enhance customer profitability reporting to facilitate informed commercial decisions that drive growth and retention.
• Take ownership of the P&L, collaborating with the Financial Controller to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results.
• Support credit and sales teams in making significant risk vs. reward decisions regarding credit limits and payment terms.
• Deliver all financial reporting requirements on time and in full, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to optimize working capital levels in line with forecasts.
• Assist in M&A and capital investment business cases, providing financial insights and support.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the finance function.

Requirements

• CIMA or ACA qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Possess a valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong ability to build relationships across the business.
• Persuasive and influential, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and leadership presence.

What We Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £74,000 to £84,000 per annum, depending on experience.
