Head of Demand & Commercial Growth - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Demand & Commercial Growth to join the Filecoin Foundation, a fully remote organization dedicated to the governance and development of the Filecoin network. As the Head of Demand & Commercial Growth, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth strategy and executing our revenue initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to lead our commercial growth efforts in a decentralized web environment.

What You’ll Do

• Generate Commercial Pipeline: Collaborate with our Enterprise Growth Lead to define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and refine our market positioning. Build inbound strategies from scratch, focusing on technical content, SEO, and enhancing ecosystem visibility.
• Close & Support Revenue: Engage in enterprise conversations and assist in moving technical deals forward. Develop disciplined forecasting and pipeline hygiene to ensure effective revenue generation.
• Own and Build the Commercial Function: Establish structures only when customer demand justifies them. As revenue milestones are achieved, you will expand the team by bringing on Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
• Drive Ecosystem & Marketplace Traction: Focus on distribution by shipping unilateral, documentation-first integrations to enhance our ecosystem presence. Prioritize visibility in key developer tools and ensure our offerings are transactable on major cloud marketplaces.
• Operationalize Partnership Revenue: Manage the commercial follow-through of third-party or ecosystem deals, ensuring customer migration is seamless and revenue is retained.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in B2B infrastructure, cloud, storage, AI/ML, or developer tools.
• Proven track record of building pipeline from zero in an early-stage environment.
• Comfortable selling technical infrastructure and working in a scrappy, analytical, and high-ownership environment.
• Experience with marketplaces and integration-led growth is a plus.
• Strong operational skills with a focus on measurement before scaling.
