We're looking for a Lead Instructor: Software Development to join our team at Correlation One. This remote position allows you to shape the future of the AI economy by delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction to diverse learners. As a Lead Instructor, you'll play a crucial role in empowering individuals with the skills needed for data-driven jobs, making this a rewarding opportunity to impact lives positively.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and lead engaging virtual classroom sessions for up to 8,000 learners, focusing on software development concepts.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Foster a positive and dynamic online learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement.
• Provide thoughtful responses and support to learners, adjusting lesson pace as necessary.
• Contribute to course improvement by offering constructive feedback to the Correlation One team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Tech Lead with a strong background in software development.
• Proficiency in Full Stack technologies including Python, JavaScript, SQL, and Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, particularly Red/Green TDD and Git/GitHub.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Gemini CLI and Google AI Studio.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage diverse learners effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Cloudflare, and Google Cloud Run.
• GitHub Foundations (GH-900) and/or OpenEDG JS Institute — JSE certification.
• Comfort with gamified learning experiences and simulations.
