Genesys Cloud Software Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a Genesys Cloud Software Engineer to join Vortech PCI Group in a fully remote capacity. As a Genesys Cloud Software Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions within our Contact Center Cloud platform. If you have hands-on experience building complex flows in Genesys Cloud and working with API integrations, this project is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to a critical business platform.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain customer experience flows in Genesys Cloud.
• Implement advanced routing logic across voice and digital channels.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, Data Actions, and event-driven services.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and optimize platform performance.
• Participate in testing, deployments, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and technical teams in a structured and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing solutions in Genesys Cloud.
• Solid experience with Architect Flows and API-based integrations.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Strong analytical and technical design capabilities.
• Experience in troubleshooting and platform stability.
• Basic knowledge of cloud and security principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven integrations (e.g., EventBridge).
• Experience with bots or conversational platforms.
• Integrations with CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics).
• Genesys Cloud or AWS certifications.
