Gas Regulation Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Gas Regulation Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will coordinate the implementation of methane regulations and related legal requirements within the company. You will represent the company during institutional inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with all necessary standards.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate the implementation of methane regulations and associated legal requirements.
• Represent the company during institutional inspections and audits.
• Develop and enhance processes related to the implementation of methane regulations.
• Monitor and analyze data on identified gas leaks.
• Provide gas leak repair plans and reports to regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with departments responsible for detecting, eliminating, and planning repairs for gas leaks.
• Conduct market surveys and participate in events to attract new suppliers related to gas leak detection.
• Plan necessary purchases, prepare technical specifications for procurement, and manage contracts related to methane gas leak detection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or physical sciences.
• Experience in engineering or construction; experience in the energy sector is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to summarize information.
• Open to innovation, results-oriented, proactive, responsible, and customer-focused.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and driving experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulatory compliance within the energy sector.
• Knowledge of gas leak detection technologies.
• Familiarity with procurement processes.
