About the Role

Join Versana as a Full Stack Software Engineer and help us transform the syndicated loan market. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing our real-time loan platform.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end applications for our platform.
  • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to create high-impact solutions that meet client needs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to ensure software quality.
  • Implement test automation across the full stack of our software.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system.
  • Establish a strong technical foundation and culture within the Application Development squad.
  • Onboard and mentor new team members to foster growth and collaboration.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of full stack development experience, with expertise in backend technologies like Java/Spring Boot and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in using build and development tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, and Artifactory.
  • Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL for seamless data integration.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Cucumber.
  • Exposure to third-party libraries like AG Grid or D3.
  • Familiarity with design systems, including UI components, animations, transitions, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with public cloud computing platforms.
  • Understanding of Syndicated Loans or Leveraged Finance.
  • A background in building enterprise application software within the financial domain.
