Full Stack Engineer - Treasury Operations
About the Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join the Treasury team at Chainlink Labs. This Full Stack Engineer remote position offers you the chance to architect, build, and scale systems that power Chainlink’s digital asset treasury operations. As part of our team, you will blend engineering excellence with financial domain knowledge, allowing you to develop production-grade applications, dashboards, automation workflows, and integrations that support a global crypto treasury operating across multiple chains.
What You'll Do
- Support treasury operations to maintain efficient digital asset management, ensuring workflows run securely and operational needs are met across a multi-chain environment.
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack systems that power Chainlink’s multichain digital asset treasury infrastructure, including internal applications, API services, automation pipelines, and operational dashboards.
- Automate critical treasury workflows including liquidity rebalancing, payments preparation, reconciliation, risk checks, and multi-chain execution to improve scalability and reliability across all digital asset operations.
- Contribute to the lifecycle of new treasury tooling and capabilities, including designing backend logic, integrating funding workflows, and supporting new product and chain integrations.
- Partner closely with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to improve processes end-to-end, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality technical solutions that strengthen treasury management and operational resilience.
- Build integrations with bridges, decentralized applications, and smart contracts, enabling seamless on-chain flows that support Treasury’s operational needs.
- Provide periodic technical updates and reporting to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders about system performance, metrics, reliability, and improvements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering experience, preferably building backend services, developer tooling, or financial/treasury systems.
- Familiarity with blockchain and Web3 ecosystems, with the ability to interact with wallet/contract-based systems, handle on-chain data, manage crypto transfer flows, and integrate with external blockchain protocols using APIs.
- Strong backend (SQL/BigQuery/RDS) and frontend development skills: e.g., Python, TypeScript/Node.js/Next.js/React (or another mainstream language), with experience building production-grade web services or applications.
- Proficient in Go and Rust programming languages.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub/GitHub Actions, and observability tools such as Prometheus/Splunk.
- An owner's mindset and willingness to roll up their sleeves with the ability to work on and deliver on multiple workstreams.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Comfort with distributed-system tooling and cloud infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes/containers, and production-scale deployment.
- Understanding of smart contracts and Solidity.
- Understanding financial concepts of payments, liquidity, and risk management.
- Some background in Finance/Fintech is a plus but not required.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Fully remote work environment with flexible hours.
- Opportunity to work with leading technologies in the blockchain space.
- Collaborative and inclusive company culture.
- Professional development opportunities and support for continuous learning.

Who Will Succeed Here
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in building scalable applications using Node.js and Next.js, as these are critical for developing treasury operation systems.
Strong analytical mindset and financial acumen, enabling the engineer to effectively contribute to the development of automation workflows and integrations that meet the specific needs of treasury operations.
Self-motivated and disciplined, thriving in a remote work environment by effectively managing time and deliverables while being comfortable collaborating asynchronously with cross-functional teams.
