About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Front Office Team Leader to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts in Brisbane. As a Front Office Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and delivering exceptional guest experiences. What You'll Do
- Oversee the operational efficiency of all front office areas during your shift, ensuring that each guest's journey is memorable.
- Collaborate closely with the Front Office & Duty Managers to lead and motivate your team, focusing on brand standards and guest satisfaction.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and engage with them meaningfully, responding promptly to feedback and building lasting relationships.
- Conduct shift briefings to communicate hotel activities and operational requirements clearly.
- Supervise front office operations, including maintenance of guest information and group bookings.
- Manage cash handling and banking procedures, ensuring compliance with credit policies and security procedures.
- Step into Duty Manager shifts when required, providing leadership and support.
Requirements
- At least one year of supervisory or GSA experience in a hospitality setting.
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in hospitality/hotel management preferred.
- Fluency in English and local language is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
- Solid knowledge of the local area to provide valuable recommendations to guests.
- Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene.
- Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
